October 2025

This is a subtitle for your new post

October was a month filled with fun exploration, learning, and celebration throughout the school. Students across all levels immersed themselves in the spirit of fall, with many activities centered around the life cycle of a pumpkin, seasonal changes, and autumn traditions. Hands-on experiences: such as pumpkin observations, seed scooping, crafts, and even carving, leaves and nature scavenger hunt, helped bring the season to life in meaningful, sensory-rich ways.

Across classrooms, children learned about North America, discovering its plants, animals, landmarks, cultures, and Indigenous communities. Geography lessons also introduced the continents and highlighted how fall looks in different parts of the world, sparking curiosity about global diversity. Pacific Coast Montessori is proud to facilitate and see the significance of diversity quotient to the young learners.

Academically, students continued developing foundational skills through Montessori materials, sensorial, practical life exercises, language arts, math practice, fine motor work, and early cultural studies. They enjoyed expressing their creativity through seasonal art projects and cooking activities, many of which embraced Halloween themes.

October was also a month of celebration and community. Students participated in festive events such as Diwali activities, the Harvest Carnival, and Halloween, proudly wearing special outfits and costumes as they shared joyful moments with friends and teachers. The Costume Parade and Harvest Carnival stood out as the month’s highlight events, supported by exceptional parent and family participation.

With a month full of discovery, creativity, and connection, the school is excited to welcome November and all the learning opportunities it will bring to all the young PCMA geniuses!
