May Recap
As we approach the completion of the 2025–2026 academic school year, we are just one month away from celebrating another successful year of learning and growth. However, the fun and excitement of learning is far from over!
One of the most meaningful events this month was our Mother’s Day Picnic Tea Party. It was a wonderful day filled with love and appreciation as we welcomed our amazing mothers and grandmothers to celebrate with us. The children proudly performed a special action song that brought joy and smiles to everyone in attendance. To make the occasion even more memorable, the children created beautiful artwork to present as Mother’s Day gifts. The time we spent together was truly invaluable and will be cherished for years to come.
Our May learning themes provided enriching and diverse experiences in our students’ early learning journey. We explored Antarctica, Plant Groups and Habitats, Animal Categories, Space and Planets, and the beloved literature study of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. One of the most exciting highlights of the month was the firsthand observation of a chicken’s life cycle. Witnessing four chicks hatch from their eggs and hearing their first chirps brought great excitement and wonder to our classrooms. Just like the chicks, our little learners at Pacific Coast Montessori Academy continue to grow and develop each day. It is incredibly rewarding to witness their progress, independence, and confidence as they reach new milestones.
This month, we also welcomed three new students. We appreciate their families for choosing Pacific Coast Montessori Academy as their learning community. Our early learning village continues to grow and flourish. In addition, we welcomed two supplemental teacher assistants, Ms. Marlene and Ms. Martha, who help ensure appropriate supervision and support in every classroom.
We concluded the month with another important opportunity to discuss each child’s developmental milestones, learning experiences, and overall progress. Your partnership and positive feedback continue to inspire and encourage us. We remain committed to providing an authentic, high-quality Montessori education that nurtures the whole child.
As we enter the final month of the 2025–2026 academic year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our families for your continued support, trust, and partnership. Thank you for helping our learning village thrive. Together, we look forward to finishing the school year strongly and celebrating all that our children have accomplished.
